someone talked about something that i found applied to me very well. and tat thing just sucks most of the time. curious? go figure, or ask me personally.

standing in the middle of the road. a step right, to incoming traffic? a step left, where there is no traffic? or is staying put the best way out?

barefooted, feet burnt by the burning ground. melting from the sweltering heat above. and body heat as well.

walking, into a roadblock. with biometric access-denial systems.

turn back, despair? no, go another way. look for the next best alternative. yet to find it tat uncovered path.

looking. staring. and only just that.

only a few days have passed. and i have so much more to say.

before i carry on, would like to say a big thank you to those who have cared for me during the arduous two weeks and many weeks before. couldnt have done it without all of you.

everyone's been missing shake! plenty. once again many thanks to the exco, and all the wonderful seniors who gave us such a memorable time. in trainings, in routines, in practices, in rehearsals, during mealtimes. cant imagine dancing without you all.

just seeing fellow cca-mates walking around in sch nowadays puts a smile to my face. and it makes me treasure, cherish, and remember more vividly the times we share as cca-mates, as dancers, as performers in the many performances to come.

one missed call is on tomorrow. i think for many of them, it may be their last time performing on stage as someone in MAD. after that, its elections and passing down. its all happening so fast, really cant imagine times where we are the only one in practices, and when we become seniors next year. really tough for us, and for the future exco to live up to the standards set. but lets think about now first, about inspire, about yet another performance, where we represent ourselves and MAD, one of our last performances.

to the seniors, once again, thanks alot. all the best for ur As, blocks, and ur future endeavours. i wish you all the best in everything u do.

now we can only reminisce, cherish, hang on to, then look forward. shake! FTW.

today's the 19th of may. that's 2 days from the end of shake!, HWA CHONG DANCE NITE 2008!

we all trained so hard for it, esp those in multiple divisions and items, as well as the exco. they were like totally stressed up for our performance, with all the details, but i guess in the end it all turned out fine. Despite all the screwups, i guess we all had a great time showing the audience and the school who we are, what we love doing, and how good we are doing it. i hope the exco next year can push for dance nite 2009 to be held in an external venue. i think we deserve it.

18th of may was great too, mahjong, tv, card games, talking crap, drinking. just regret that the place was a bit too boring, maybe we shud find other things to do the next time, if there ever is one. oh, and ive got a headache now, probably because of the lack of sleep, or the random/awkward sleeping positions. or maybe its something else in my head. maybe its dance nite 2008

the hours spent in preparing for the item, times where we shared good laughs, and at times got reprimanded. and also all the mugging sessions cos we needed to pull up our grades, cos seriously cmi. and when shake! drew near, we all had practices and trainings everyday, so much so we returned home all worn out, leaving all the work undone and getting screwed by the teacher the next day. all the rehearsals, where the exco was briefing us and debriefing us, where the j3s were pep-talking us, where we bonded in the activity room together.

the times we spent in the rua, cheering one another on before each performance, shaking hands, and give friends further encouragement when they had another item coming up. everywhere, u could find ppl emo-ing about the last dance nite and the horror that follows, people that were capturing memories on camera, and even guys that were "hugging" one another, encouraging one another on.

those moments, those scenes, those times, are absolutely priceless. as a j1, u get to enjoy a little bit more knowing u've got a second year coming up, but the experience would be different a year later, where you would be seniors. just spend a few seconds taking all these in while walking around the rua, the classroom, the feeling is absolutely awesome. looking at the audience while the performance, then see the audi empty after the show, tells me that we should cherish the moments we have together as a cca, as performers, for once it is over, there would be no repeats.
i saw many happy faces in the rua especially, celebrating the success of the show, cheering, taking photos. just looking at these alone makes me feel wonderful and proud to be a part of shake!. im absolutely proud to be part of this performance which everyone put so much effort in, proud to be part of MAD, with great seniors, not only in bboy, but in all divisions, and the exco as well. proud that i am discovering myself more now, proud of all my friends who have done brilliantly despite all the obstacles such as injuries and time and homework. im proud that i have found somewhere that i belong.

i dont think any of us can get us to this now, like not having something to look forward to. no more excuses for late homework. no more excuses for sleeping in class. no more excuses for reaching home late. at least for one year. just feels as though something is missing from your life. and i, if not all of us, will be desperate to get that amazing feeling back. i cant even begin to describe how good it felt, knowing you put in your all for this performance, and the audience loved it. how good it feels knowing that you have so many people who share the same passion as you. how high it feels, cyphering on stage. and how empty it feels without all these.

it'll take a while for me to adjust to life without dance nite, to fill the void left behind. (even now i can imagine what the j2s are going through.) but the feeling from shake! 2008 will live with me for a lifetime.

to be really honest, my expectations were never high. it was pure disappointment from the start. with myself. i guess it wasnt what i thought it to be, although i still hope it will be what i hoped for it to become.

the bleeding has stopped for now.

but we all know that its going to be twice the pain soon after.

not sure if i will be able to handle this. cant seem to find that motivation anymore. someone without that, is just a zombie.

and i so wouldnt want to do that for another 2 after having done so for 10.

i cant see the end. maybe its because im blindfolded. maybe its because im blind.

or maybe, its already the end.

welcome back, long hiatus that was

mainly because my life has been so boring!! sch, dance, eat, do homework, sleep, mug for tests, go out with family, mahjong.. what a sad life me leads..

fac comm interview/audition just over, every interview i learn something new.. previous one i went totally unprepared for the questions, this too. haha based on todays performance i would say i wouldnt stand a chance. and there isnt another day.

hurrumph. who doesnt want to be in the fac comm man... why must they ask for applicants then only interview ct reps! haha lols.. ahh what the heck, maybe i should start to learn to accept failure, not like i experience that alot in the past.

been thinking. everyone's having so much fun in jc. cca, og, so many concerts, so many places to enjoy, so many occassions to make merry. but is life in jc all about having fun?? im having loads of it, and its been great. but could there be something more?

i think fun without achievement is nothing. then again, what is achievement? whose achievement? is it public recognition or self-awareness and self-satisfaction? really find my life now so mundane. no projects, no events...(hint hint!)maybe im only so good, maybe thats my destiny. but if know my previous message, you'll be expecting some action from me. at least, to enrich my life further, so that this precious 20 more months arent wasted like the previous 2.

i need to fill up that gap.

and that.
