self-righteousness and self-expectations make a dangerous concoction that produces an addictive, vicious cycle of failure, disappointment and despair. ironic. the basis of goals and ambitions cause the death of them as well. i guess the difference lies in the methods of handling whatever comes. sometimes, the best medicine for that is a tired brain and an exhausted body.
