seeking closure in life is inevitable. human nature.

this week our chem tutor left for paris on a scholarship, coming back next year before our A's. we are so going to miss him. he's been a great tutor, very patient and willing to teach, and teachers very well. as long as u understand the concept and methods, u can not pay attention in his class too. where can u find such a tutor again! getting a new tutor tomorrow (or rather today), wonder if she's as good (hopefully!). will miss mr kelvin tan no matter what. see u next year mr tan!

wednesday is cca forum. dont noe what to expect from it. then im gng for 39th batch POP. and then another meeting. i still can remember POP last year, where we changed in the room for the last time, muster parade for the last time. i collected a plaque. then we went for the ceremony, with all the speeches, the handing over ceremony, the exchange of presents with files, the montage which brought back alot of pleasant memories. there were a few unpleasant times as well though, but on the whole ive learned so much from my time there.

then we went out to cine to catch a movie for those who were willing to say out late. it was the outing with most people. it was a closure for many of us, and the start for the next batch. now its their time to end off their npcc life, one year on. but i still feel the nostalgia, the same feeling a year on.

and then its time to get back to reality again, and to work hard again for everyone in MAD. we have a long way to go, but im really confident we can pull off all the things we want to do, with or without the aid of teachers.

i wonder. a year on, what our closure will be like.

took a good break this long weekend. slept alot, played mahjong alot as well, and won quite abit. those reading this in time may get a treat from me if ur fast enough.

was bloghopping, and i read a few of my junior's blogs. and somehow i cant help but feel nostalgic.

last year, at about this time, i was undergoing an internal struggle. a massive internal struggle. the whole time last year was spent on that fruitless struggle, so much so it blocked my mind and my view for so much other stuff. in fact i was so preoccupied with my own stuff that i completely neglected my squad, with whom i spent so much time for, my squadmates who have gone through so much with me, as well as the CIs who were so brilliant and nice and helped me so much (other than that specific 3 days). somehow i wish i could turn back the clock to that time so that i could have another go at it, another go during POP, to be nice, to thank everyone.

throughout the past year, i tod myself, if that was the route i was gonna take, then i mus faithfully stick to it. gladly, i did. maintained in contact with alot of them. chatted with alot of them online. saying hi in school. u dont noe, but it is really warms my heart when i see your around in school. i've seen some of them grow, the rest not becos u did not, rather becos i did not see it. and im really proud of how much u all have grown and who u've become, and what u've done. it makes all the time spent, all the anger felt, and all the work done worth it.

their term's coming to an end now, its their time to pass over to another batch of ExCo. im sure they have learnt lots since last year, and hope they will bring whatever they have learnt with them for life. and i just hope u will treasure ur last few weeks together. becos once its past, then will u realise then its past.

npcc batch 38(or wateva) hasnt gone out tgt in a v long time.

they say bboy-ing is a style of life. i cant agree more.

you gotta work hard to pull off every single move. u got to be in control of every single move. you got to learn to improvise and freestyle, to the music, to the surroundings. you got to make use of all ur crewmates' strengths to win battles. you got to endure the pain before mastering new moves. you got to battle more to battle better.

but no matter what you do, there'll be someone out there that's better than u in one way or another.

what would you feel? inferior, because there are people that are better than you, and wallow in self-pity?or would you work hard to match them?issit possible to match them then?
superior, because u r better than some wack bboys?would that make you arrogant and despise others, or would you pass your knowledge on,to help people?would that make you lose your superiority then?

2 sides of the coin. many consequences. a difficult choice? or is it about choice? would it be our natural instinct then?
or should we just do what you think is right, what makes you feel good? what IS right? WHO is right? WHO has the right to define WHAT is right?

isnt life full of such un-answerable questions? yet, at the end of the day, it comes down to making that crucial choice. it may be rational, it may not be. yes, you may regret it, but life is filled with regrets. accept it and get on with life. learn to live with your own choices.

right now, the better choice is to mug hard for promos.
